Unclaimed Funds Company audits many governmental agencies across the country to locate sums of money owed to private individuals and companies. If these funds go unclaimed for too long, they are usually lost to the government agency holding them.
It is through our specialized audit process that we’ve determined you have some unclaimed funds.
If you’ve received a phone call or a letter from us, we have located funds that we believe belong to you. Please contact us by phone as soon as possible so we can start your claim.
The consultation process is relatively simple. Don’t worry we won’t be asking for any bank account or credit card information. We do need to validate we have the proper person who is authorized to receive the funds. Once we do then it is off to the paperwork stage.
After you have spoken to one of our agents and verbally agreed to let us work your claim, we will set up a time for you to sign several pages of paperwork to allow us to get started.
We accomplish this by either sending a local, mobile notary to meet you or in some cases we may be able to use an e-signing system to do this paperwork all via computer.
Sometimes depending on the case, our state specific partner attorneys may also need to sign or be involved in the paperwork part of the process.
Once we have received all of the paperwork, double checked everything for accuracy we will submit it to the proper agency and request payment. Claims are usually processed within 1-3 months depending on the complexity of the case, Your share of the claim, typically 60-70% of the funds collected, will be remitted to you within 30 days of receipt.
You pay absolutely nothing up front or out of Pocket!
Our firm works on a contingent basis – there are no out-of-pocket expenses to you. We’re paid ONLY upon successful collection of your claim. We cover ALL expenses related to the claim until it is paid, and if the claim is unsuccessful you owe us nothing.
